Scott Hewitt will be the speaker at the Norfolk Network on October 21st 2009.

At the event in October we'll be finding out why there is now a legitimate place for games in the workplace including:

* How are hospital surgeons making use of Wii tennis?
* Why does the Royal Navy use the PlayStation Portable on submarines?
* How was a 500 page disaster planning document turned into a game?
* How is the United Nations using computer games in peace keeping training?

In a creative and interactive session Scott will open your mind to innovative and sustainable solutions for improving business skills and strategies.

Scott will be presenting in the digital Curve auditorium at the Forum and be bringing a whole host of games and devices to try from pacman to Wii fit! After the event you'll be able to access plenty of free game-based learning resources.

Scott is the founder of Real Projects, www.realprojects.co.uk a creative e-learning business that is increasingly developing learning games for leading public and private organisations. Scott will also share how he re-focused the business after completing the Business Growth Programme at Cranfield University and set up an innovative link with the NUCA Computer Games Design Degree.

They'll be an opportunity to meet Scott informally afterwards and socialise with other members over a glass of wine and nibbles.
